Detectorists who have appreciated the power of the Garrett AT Pro can now be introduced to a new All Terrain machine that provides greater detection depth and impressive, exclusive Garrett features. The AT Gold includes:

• True All Metal Mode detection. The All Metal Mode is preferred for prospecting because it provides the greatest possible depth and sensitivity. It also provides a continuous audio response to allow the operator to hear the subtle detection signals produced by faint targets.
• Garrett Exclusive All Metal Iron Audio™ feature. This function allows the introduction of a Low-Tone response to audibly indicate ferrous targets and it is fully functional while remaining in a True All Metal Mode! With the AT Gold, it is no longer necessary to sacrifice depth and sensitivity by switching into a Discrim Mode to check iron targets. Iron Audio is also available in the two Discrim Modes.
• Garrett Exclusive Adjustable Ground Balance Window™ feature. This function allows the user to
  spread the ground balance setting in order to simultaneously ground balance to a range of values. This smooths out the audio by reducing subtle ground responses and allows the user to hear those faint targets. This feature can even be used to reduce the response to some hot rocks and terra cotta.
• Higher Frequency—The AT Gold’s 18 kHz frequency is optimized to detect tiny gold pieces. It is also
  very sensitive on gold jewelry, lead relics, and on small bronze, copper, silver and brass items.
• Adjustable Threshold. Select from 33 values of constant background sound to better hear targets.
• Powerful, new 5”x8” PROformance DD searchcoil. This smaller DD coil is ideally sized for gold
  prospecting, offers excellent target separation in iron-infested search areas, and improves performance in highly mineralized soils. Garrett’s blunted tip and tail design further extends the coil’s search area and offers improved searching along obstacles.
• All terrain versatility. Designed for use in wet, humid and dusty environments. Can be immersed in
  water to 10 feet (3 meters). Ideal for shallow water prospecting in the fresh water streams where gold can often be found.
• Two Discrimination Modes—The AT Gold’s two Discrim Modes offer the additional audio features of multiple Tone ID and Tone Roll Audio to provide more target information. Use DISC 1 Mode (a zero discrim mode with the ability to control Iron Disrim from 0 to 40) to search for international coins, jewelry, relics or caches. The DISC 2 Mode is ideal for U.S. coin hunting, as most iron, one pixel of foil,
  and two pixels in the pulltab range have been eliminated.
• High Resolution Iron Discrimination™—Provides 40 points of iron resolution for the most precise
  ability to separate a good target from iron trash.
